This fully narrated tour covers 120 miles of the Columbia River, aboard the Outrageous Jet Boat, to the coastal town of Astoria at the mouth of the Columbia River and Pacific Ocean. Once in Astoria you will have time on your own to explore downtown and enjoy lunch. Next, you will board a motorcoach and visit the Astoria Column and Fort Clatsop before returning to Portland. ·Outrageous Jet Boat cruises are an adventure-style experience. For safety and comfort, guests should be in good health and free from heart, back, knee, and neck problems, motion sickness or other conditions that could be aggravated. Expectant mothers should not ride. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers must be at least 40" tall to ride. Guests may need to negotiate a steep series of steps when boarding and disembarking the jet boat.
·The jet boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Prepaid reservations are required for all group bookings. A 25% deposit and a signed contract are required to confirm all group reservations. Full payment and guaranteed guest count are required two weeks before cruise date. Short-term bookings welcome when space is available. After final payment is made, the number of guests is guaranteed and no refunds will be issued. The number of guests may be increased only if space is available. One representative from the group will be the direct contact between the group and a Portland Spirit sales representative. Deposits and payments plus any other group information will be provided by that contact. Groups will be seated together on the same deck with other public passengers during any meal cruise. Table size and number of tables will vary depending on total number in the party. Any on board purchases are subject to a 17% service gratuity.

Note: December dinner cruise deposits are non-refundable after October 1st. Guaranteed guest number and pre-payment required by November 2nd. The number of guests may be increased only if space is available, and with pre-payment.

Private Rental Options

Private rental of one deck of the Portland Spirit or one deck of the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler is available during a scheduled public cruise. Private rental of the entire Portland Spirit vessel, the entire Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler, the Willamette Star, the Crystal Dolphin, and the Outrageous Jetboat is available at any time. For a group lunch or dinner, guests will have their choice of entrée from our public menu, which they will select onboard. Brunch is served buffet style. Additionally, you may choose to host appetizers, desserts and beverages for your group. You may want to view an assortment of sample Public Menus.

The Portland Spirit company requires a signed contract and a 25% deposit of your estimated cost to book your group reservation. The final payment and guest list are due two weeks prior to your event. If you reserve within 30 days or less from your cruise date, your non-refundable estimated total cost and guest list are due at the time of booking. Payment for any remaining balance or additional purchases will be collected onboard at the end of your cruise.
